The Challenge

While we’ve been running OSCO’s ads for a few years now, as we rounded the corner into a new year and bigger goals, we decided as a team it was time to turn things up. It was time to get more out of our ad dollars, generate stronger results and create more conversions. 

We knew we were at a place where we finally had enough data, assets and manpower to mature it. It was time to go bigger with our ads program and we knew that in order to achieve the results we wanted, it was time to leverage the program’s historical data, plus incorporate new opportunities, such as Google’s Performance Max.  

The Solution

Having run the ads program for 3 years, and more specifically, being focused on the program’s current goal for a year, we finally had the foundation to scale the program to new heights. 

We revised the strategy, tapped into new ad opportunities and updated the assets to help boost our relevance and therefore get more promoted by Google. 

The month-over-month difference when we turned it on blew our expectations out of the water! 

Historically, our average cost-per-click (CPC) was just over $18, which we were OK with due to the nature of our target audience and eventual value, but in month one, we decreased it to 90 cents! 

The pre- and post-Performance Max conversions increased more than 900% and we started driving stronger, more engaged traffic to the website as shown by the average time spent on site that fluctuates between 2-3 minutes since going this route!
